More than 70 customers of the Swansea Get Connected Business Centre were guests at the Neath Valley Stages Rally, title sponsored by the Wales-based mobile phone retailer. The VIP guests enjoyed a 'Hog Roast' lunch and cheered on the company's Managing Director, Damian Cole, who finished third despite his Hyundai World Rally Car spinning off the course at a high speed on the penultimate stage. 'A great day was had by all despite the damp weather conditions' commented John Harris, Sales Director with Get Connected. 'It was good to spend social time with our clients away from the office, and Get Connected's sponsorship of the rally provided the perfect opportunity for this' 'This kind of day gets people involved in motorsport who would not normally think of coming to an event like this, I have to admit this was my first taste of rallying and I will be keen to go again, said Mike Mills National Retail Manager for the company.
