Our Press Release

Courtney’s Next Top Model is a beauty competition which will raise funds for the Pink Ribbon Foundation and it's about to begin all over again! Last year hundreds of girls throughout Carmarthenshire entered Courtney’s Next Top Model 2008 and the competition successfully raised awareness and much needed funds for Cancer Research.

This year, we intend to introduce the competition to women throughout South Wales and not just to those who reside in Carmarthenshire. We have also extended the age limit to 35. This is to make sure that we can raise cancer research awareness to a larger audience.

Courtney’s Next Top Model 2009 will provide a platform for local women to be part of a competition that will really make a difference, raising both funds and awareness for Cancer Research.

The final will be held in the form of a catwalk fashion show arranged by Natalie Jones of 'Courtney's' on Friday 20th November 2009 at 7.30pm Diplomat Hotel, Llanelli.

The winner will be handed the crown by former Courtney’s Next Top Model 2008, Louise. Since winning her title, Louise has performed in various photo shoots, appeared on a billboard advertising bridal gowns and has received professional pictures for her own portfolio.

Courtney’s Next Top Model 2009 will win a 12 month modelling contract with popular Lush Model Agency (which will provide the winner with her own page on the Lush Model Agency website - providing news of her latest roles of importance and appearances throughout South Wales), a beautiful evening gown provided by Courtney Bridal, jewellery, her very own portfolio photo shoot with one of Wales’ best photographers.

The competition is completely free and all entries must be in by the 20th October 2009.

The judges will be, Natalie Jones of Courtney’s, Andrea Kelly – High Street Fashion Designer, Caryl Edwards of Celtes Beauty/former Miss Wales finalist and a surprise celebrity judge!

Tickets will soon be on sale, the proceeds of which will go to The Pink Ribbon Foundation as well as sale of raffle tickets on the night.

The competition is open to women aged 16 – 35 who are a minimum height of 5’6’,   dress size 8 – 18.  For full details of the competition rules and further information on how to apply, please view the NEWS Page on www.courtneysbridal.co.uk
